Ladislav Krejci says a lack of focus in the final stages of the game meant Wolves picked up just two points instead of the six they deserved before the international break.  

The Czech international defender joined Wolves at the end of the summer transfer window and quickly became a key member of the team's defense. The central defensive partnership of Ladislav Krejci and Santi Bueno showed solid defensive performances against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton.  

However, Ladislav Krejci regretted the goal conceded in the final moments of the match, stating that the team had to accept only one point, even though they could have had more.  

"It's really frustrating because we were so close to winning again, for the second time in a row," said Ladislav Krejci. "We started well and deserve credit for our performance in the first half, scoring a goal and controlling the tempo of the game."  

“But then we had a problem with concentration, or I’m not sure why, because we should have kept going until the end. That shouldn’t happen again, after all, we’ve dropped four points in the last two games. However, we know where we need to improve and that’s what we want to change. The overall game plan was very good, and the execution was much better in the first half than in the second half, when we lost some tempo and couldn’t maintain the performance we had in the first half.”  

"But this also stems from our strong desire to win. We know how important victory is, so we may have relaxed a little at some stage. Unfortunately, we conceded another goal in the 85th minute, which is very regrettable. However, looking back at our performance at the beginning of the season and our current state, we can see that the team is steadily improving."  

“We also wanted to keep a clean sheet and win the game, so we dropped our defense a bit in the final stages. We also brought on a fifth defender and adjusted our formation, and the game went in that direction. However, we will now go into the international break with a clear head and the right mentality to face the challenges ahead.”  

When talking about his integration into the team, Ladislav Krejci said: "I can't speak for others, but I personally feel that I have integrated well into the team and have a very harmonious relationship with my teammates. I am very grateful for this opportunity. This is the trust that the coaching staff and staff have placed in me, and I hope to repay them with my performance."
