England U21 will compete with Germany U21 in the final of the 2025 European U21 Football Championship. Coach Lee Carsley said that the players' experience is the key factor for the team to reach this position and he believes that the players have the ability to compete for the championship.

In the earlier semi-final, England U21 defeated Netherlands U21 2-1 with two goals scored by Liverpool midfielder Elliott and successfully advanced to the final.

It is worth mentioning that England U21 defeated Spain U21 1-0 in the final of the 2023 European U21 Football Championship with Jones scoring a goal and successfully won the championship.

England U21 coach Lee Carsley said, "Hopefully there will be some continuity between this team and the last one, and I think we've seen that. The players who won the championship last time have since entered the adult national team, and their experience of winning the competition in England will undoubtedly help, and we believe they have the ability to do so."

"Hopefully we can have a good season and win another title. It would be a great thing for them and like I always say, I have every confidence in them. They are an exciting team, very united and they are growing as the tournament goes on and hopefully they will get what they deserve."

Lee Carsley said, "We have discussed how important the depth of the squad is, not just the starting 11, but the entire team. If we want to win the game tomorrow, we need everyone's efforts. Unity has existed since our first training camp, but it is actually very difficult to gather 23 players with different personalities for 28 days and let them integrate quickly."

"They are still young and full of energy, and the experience they have gained at the club is key to getting them to this point. It is an exciting time for England as we have so many talented players in our academy who are fully capable of challenging for the senior team."

In addition, Lee Carsley also said, "I am very confident in the players. I still remember that we found the feeling in the second half of the previous game against Germany. Frankly speaking, we didn't play well in the first 20 minutes. But we see the high level of performance of the players in training every day, and we know that sooner or later they will find the rhythm.
