Lens completes contract extension with young France U21s international forward Anthony Bermont..

Lens announced on their official website on Tuesday that the club have extended the contract of its young France U21s international forward Anthony Bermont.

According to Lens' official statement, Bermont has signed on a new long-term four-year deal which runs until the summer of 2029.

About Anthony Bermont

Bermont, who is only still 20, was born on February 10, 2005, in Beauvais, France. He is 1.87 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play as a left midfielder, left wing-back, or attacking midfielder.

Bermont joined non-league club Noailles-Cauvigny at the age of six, then joined the youth academy of his hometown club Beauvais the following year. In 2019, he joined the Chambly youth academy, and moved to Lens' youth academy the following year. He began playing for Lens' reserve team in 2022.

In August 2024, Bermont was loaned-out to Annecy.

During his loan spell, he was named Ligue 2 Young Player of the Year for his impressive performances.

After returning to the team this summer following the end of his loan spell, Bermont completed his Lens first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in a match against Lyon in August 2025.

This season, Bermont has made three appearances for the Ligue 1 dark horse in all competitions so far, has yet the to score a goal or provide an assist for the club.
