Chelsea Football Club welcomed its new manager today. 41-year-old Liam Rosenior has officially arrived at the Cobham training ground and signed a long-term contract until 2032.
The arrival of the former Strasbourg manager marks the beginning of a new chapter for Chelsea, one centered on stability. After completing the signing, Rossenier expressed his gratitude for the responsibility and outlined his team-building philosophy.
"Being entrusted with important responsibilities means everything," Rossellini said. "I firmly believe in teamwork and cohesion, and these values will be the cornerstone of our success."
“I’m eager to work with this group of incredibly talented players, not only to win on the pitch, but also to build strong connections off the pitch. I will give my all every day and make everyone at Chelsea proud.”
Although Rossellini has officially taken over, he still needs time to familiarize himself with the environment. Therefore, the West London derby against Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow night will continue to be temporarily managed by U21 manager Calum McFarlane.
McFarlane revealed at the pre-game press conference that he had a brief conversation with Rossene: "He is very excited about taking on this position. I have been told that I will be in charge of tomorrow's game, and we will try our best to get three points to lay the foundation for his future team building."
