After the break, the game entered a dramatic climax. In the 48th minute, Lloyd Kelly landed on Yilmaz's leg while challenging for a header, and after VAR intervention, received his second yellow card and was sent off. Despite this, Juventus continued to threaten the opponent's goal despite playing with 10 men: In the 55th minute, Locatelli made a long diagonal pass from the right side of midfield to Yilmaz on the left, whose low shot only hit the side netting. In the 63rd minute, Locatelli's free-kick cross from the right flank was headed just over by Gatti in the penalty area.

In the 82nd minute, Kupmena headed the ball across the goal for Weston McKennie to finish, leveling the aggregate score at 3-3 for Juventus.
After a draw in regular time, the two sides were forced into extra time. Unfortunately, Juventus conceded two goals to Galatasaray : in the 105+1 minute, Yilmaz played a through ball to Osimhen, who slotted home a low shot inside the box. In the 119th minute, Wilfried Singo played a through ball to Yilmaz, who then slotted home a one-on-one chance to beat Perin. Neither side managed to score again, and Galatasaray ultimately secured their qualification with a 7-5 aggregate score.
