Bournemouth, nicknamed "The Cherries," will host Aston Villa in the next round of the 2025/26 Premier League season. Andoni Iraola has stated that he hopes David Brooks will return to the squad, but will need to observe the winger's form after training.
In the last league match, Bournemouth defeated Wolves 2-0 at Molineux Stadium after goals from Krupie and Alex Scott. With two consecutive wins, Bournemouth now sits in 12th place in the standings with 33 points.
In terms of squad availability, Bournemouth currently has players such as Kluivert and Tafnier unavailable.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola said, "The only player we can add right now is David Brooks, but we'll have to see how he performs after training."
"But if everything goes well, he could be back in the matchday squad. I think the lineup this time will be very similar to the one we had against Wolves."
As for Aston Villa, Emery's team is currently third in the standings with 46 points, having lost 0-1 to Brentford in their last match. In head-to-head records, Bournemouth have a poor record against Aston Villa, with two draws and three losses in their last five encounters, including a 0-4 away defeat in the first leg of this season.
Speaking about their upcoming match against Aston Villa, Andoni Iraola said, "They have always performed exceptionally well. And they have consistently qualified for Europe for the past few seasons, and it looks like they are very likely to do so again this season."
“They have been one of the best teams in the league for the past few seasons. Against such a top opponent, you have to play exceptionally well if you want to get even a point, otherwise you have no chance at all.”
