The Milwaukee Bucks announced on Wednesday that they had re-signed Chris Livingston. ESPN reporter Shams Charania revealed that the two sides reached a one-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $2.3 million.

Chris Livingston, 21, plays as a forward and was selected by the Bucks with the 58th pick in the second round in 2023. He then shuttled back and forth between the Bucks and their affiliated team, the Wisconsin Deer Herd, and has played in 42 NBA regular season games so far, averaging 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 40.8%.

Livingston also played in the G League for the Wisconsin Herd, averaging 18.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in 18 games, shooting 48.5%.

The Bucks waived Livingston earlier this month to avoid his $2.2 million contract becoming guaranteed. Despite this, Livingston still averaged 20.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the first three games of the Las Vegas Summer League, shooting 50% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range. He also regained the trust of the Bucks management and won a new contract for himself.

With Livingston's return, the Bucks now have 14 fully guaranteed contracts. The 15th spot is currently occupied by Andre Jackson, who is partially guaranteed, which means that Bogolyub Markovic, who was selected by the team with the 47th pick in the second round this year, may not be on the roster for the new season and will continue to play in Serbia.
