Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner shared his thoughts after the team's 0-0 draw with Leeds United.  

In a post-match interview, Oliver Glasner said: "Yes, we are not entirely satisfied with the result, nor are we entirely satisfied with the team's performance, but we have to accept it. I think the first half was very intense and the game was very high-intensity."  

"In the second half, after the opponent had a player sent off, we did have more possession, but the passing pace was too slow, which is something we've been discussing. We've realized this and are working hard to improve it in training."  

"In situations like this, we sometimes get a bit nervous. Everyone wants to score, and we know the team needs to score, but that's precisely why we're prone to making the wrong decisions. We didn't need to be so impatient, and as a result, we lost possession. We should stay calm and patiently wait for our chances, especially in the attacking third, while also building a good defensive structure to ensure our backline is well-organized. Today, our cross was cleared, our positioning wasn't good enough, we committed a foul, and the opponent got another chance through a long pass."  

“We then won the header, but the opponent had another long throw-in opportunity. To better control the game, we must maintain our formation and be patient. But the problem is that we lost our patience in this situation and therefore failed to gain the upper hand. Of course, on the other hand, we also need to move the ball around faster and get more players into the danger zone, which is exactly what we lacked today.”  

Oliver Glasner spoke about the second half after Leeds United had a man sent off near the end of the first half. He said, "We haven't been performing well in the last two or three games. For example, against Nottingham Forest, we had a man advantage in the first half but still couldn't score. It was the same today, and I remember a similar situation against Wolves."  

"On the other hand, we played very well against Tottenham Hotspur. I think that's exactly where we need to improve – to be more consistent in matches, be patient, and believe that opportunities will eventually come. Because sometimes it's not easy to play with ten men."  

“Last season we won here against Brighton with only nine players. It’s not easy to win when a team drops deep and defends tightly in the box. So we need to be patient and wait for our chances, just like against Wolves, where we played well and eventually scored the winning goal.”  

"Today we almost scored through a brilliant set-piece combination, but we also know that this is still an area where the team needs to improve, and it's the direction we'll strive to work on going forward. Ultimately, we managed to keep a clean sheet and earn a point. Although our goal is three points, based on today's game, we have to accept this result."
