Cagliari announced on Sunday that they have signed Turkish striker Semih Kırıçsoy on a season-long loan from Beşiktaş. His contract reportedly includes a buyout clause worth €12 million, plus variable bonuses of up to €2 million.
According to multiple Turkish media reports, the loan fee is €200,000. If Cagliari chooses to exercise the buyout clause, Beşiktaş will retain 20% of the player's secondary transfer commission.
The 19-year-old Kırıçoy, a product of Beşiktaş's youth academy, made his first-team debut in the Turkish Super League on February 26, 2023. To date, he has made 87 appearances for Beşiktaş, scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists, winning both the Turkish Cup and the Turkish Super Cup with the team.
Thanks to his outstanding performance at the club level, Kırıçoy has been selected for the national team since June 2024. He has played 4 times for the Turkish team so far and has not scored or assisted.
However, Klečisoi gradually lost his starting position under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season. In order to seek more playing opportunities, he chose to move to Cagliari, which ranked 15th in Serie A last season.
