In the eighth round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Arsenal traveled to Craven Cottage to face Fulham. After 90 minutes of intense action, the Gunners secured their third consecutive league victory with a 1-0 victory.

Fulham, the hosts, struck first in the first half. In the 13th minute, Sander Berg sent a through ball upfield, which Harry Wilson attempted to shoot from the right side of the penalty area, but David Raya saved it. However, Arsenal found the net just three minutes later through a volley from Riccardo Calafiori, but the linesman flagged it offside.
As time went on, Arsenal gradually gained the upper hand. In the 37th minute, Bukayo Saka sent a through ball from the right, and Victor Džekeres decisively shot into the near corner, but Bernd Leno blocked it. Leandro Trossard quickly followed up with a header, but Leno also kept it out. A minute later, Saka sent a cross from the right, and Calafiori's shot was slightly high.
Arsenal continued their attacking drive in the second half. In the 48th minute, Eberechi Eze sent a lob from the edge of the penalty area, and Trossard chested the ball before volleying it into the side netting. In the 58th minute, Saka took a corner kick from the right, and Gabriel Magalhaes headed in a header for Trossard, who slotted home from close range. Thanks to Trossard's goal, Arsenal finally took a 1-0 lead.
In the 68th minute, Arsenal was awarded a penalty after Saka fell on the edge of the penalty area, but the referee overturned the decision after VAR intervention. Neither side scored after that, and Arsenal maintained their one-goal advantage until the final whistle.
