Real Madrid officially confirmed on its official website on Friday that its Italian legendary head coach Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club to become the head coach of the Brazil national team.

According to Real Madrid's official statement, the club is very grateful for Ancelotti's contribution and all the honours he has won for the team, and wishes him good luck in the future. Ancelotti will always be one of the legends in Real Madrid's history.

Los Blancos will also hold a special farewell ceremony for Ancelotti at Santiago Bernabeu this Saturday (May 24), after the final game of this season. He will not serve as the head coach during the FIFA Club World Cup.

After the news that he will become the head coach of the Brazil national team was confirmed, in a farewell letter which posted on his official personal Instagram account, Ancelotti wrote: "Today we are parting again. Today, I once again keep in my heart the wonderful experience of my second term as Real Madrid head coach."

Ancelotti, 65, was born on June 10, 1959 in Reggiolo, Italy. He is a former Italy international midfielder during his playing career and a legendary player at Parma, Roma and AC Milan.
