Sam Johnstone pointed out that Wolves players need to learn to face reality and reflect on their performance. He also praised James Collins and Richard Walker for bringing positive changes to the team this week. As the dressing room gradually adjusts to the absence of Vitor Pereira, Johnstone acknowledged that the team faces tough challenges under the interim leadership of Collins and Walker, but he believes it is a necessary adjustment given the poor start to the Premier League season.  

Wolves are about to visit Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is delighted to have regained his starting position. He stated that he will do his utmost to solidify his place and contribute to the team's success in the Premier League.  

Sam Johnstone stated, "We had intensive training sessions with LeBron James and his coaching staff this week. James has very clear requirements for the players. Although there weren't many meetings, each one was very detailed and targeted. We did defensive drills, where the players had to give it their all and fight hard, while also maintaining initiative on offense."  

"He only has four days to prepare for the weekend's game, and he needs to convey all the tactical requirements and execution details to the players in just four training sessions, which is undoubtedly a huge challenge. He hopes that the players can fully understand and enjoy the process, so as to apply what they have learned in training to the game. New voices, new ideas, and different training methods have all injected vitality into the team."  

“After the game against Fulham, I expressed my feelings, which perhaps also represented the emotions of the other players in the dressing room and the fans. We have to take responsibility for the result; after all, it was us on the pitch, but our performance was not ideal. While there were some games where we didn't play well, there were also some games where we were satisfied. There are no easy games in the Premier League. Against Burnley, we actually played quite well, but they converted all three of their shots into goals. Although we had more possession and created some chances, we must learn to hold onto our leads.”  

“We played well away against Tottenham and ultimately secured a victory. Although the late goal made it feel like a loss, overall, getting a point away from Tottenham is still a positive result for us. I have been honest with myself, and all we can do is be frank, honest with ourselves, and honest with the club.”

We have an excellent goalkeeping team, and everyone is eager to play. I’m still in the starting lineup, so I have to make sure I stay in shape, solidify my position, and continue to contribute to the team, helping us achieve better results and improve our ranking.”  

"If we can further refine our overall system and make our defense more solid, I believe we are fully capable of doing so. Our offensive threat is evident, and we are able to create and capitalize on opportunities, but we still need to improve on the defensive end. I am in good form right now, but I will not be complacent. I will continue to work hard and focus on my job."
