The 25-year-old Isaac officially moved to Liverpool last week and signed a long-term contract. Liverpool manager Slot said that because Isaac had not participated in full pre-season training with his previous club, the striker would not play the full 90 minutes in all the games in the coming weeks.

Isaac from Sweden previously played for Newcastle and contributed 23 goals and 6 assists to Newcastle in the 2024/25 Premier League season, with a very impressive performance.

Liverpool manager Slot said at the press conference, "I think the Swedish coach Dahl Tomasson deserves a lot of praise. But he also understands that if Isaac plays two full 90 minutes in a row, the player is likely to be out for several weeks.
