Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah says the team will continue to use the tactics and strategies that worked well during the Club World Cup as a basis for their preparations for the upcoming final.  

The defender played a key role in Chelsea's win over Fluminense, helping the team to achieve their third clean sheet of the tournament. Not only did he make a team-high seven steals, he also maintained a 100% success rate in 54 passes, showing extremely high game efficiency and stability.  

Trevoh Chalobah acknowledged that the team's success so far is inseparable from the joint efforts of all members, and he also shared his thoughts on reaching the final for the second time in just a few weeks.  

Trevoh Chalobah said: “We are very happy. Reaching the final has been one of our goals since the first match of this tournament. It is exciting to have achieved this goal now.”  

"The only thing we can control is our performance on the field. And throughout this tournament, the players have been performing well. Now, we have taken another step forward."  

Chelsea new boy Joao Pedro fired up MetLife Stadium with two goals against his former club, following another impressive performance from fellow striker Liam Delap on his Chelsea debut.  

Trevoh Chalobah later gave a positive evaluation of the integration of the two new players. He said: "They both integrated well into the team and acted as if they had been here for many years."  

"It's great to have that kind of quality and to be part of such a great team. We're really, really happy for them."  

As the tournament draws to a close, Chelsea are just one step away from the Club World Cup title, with only two teams remaining out of the 32 participating teams. Although the final opponent is not to be underestimated and the game is of great significance, Trevoh Chalobah said that the team will maintain the current preparation rhythm in preparation for the final and will not make major adjustments.
