Wildcard, a professional American Counter-Strike Online team, officially announced on Friday that Love Smidbrandt (ID: phzy) has returned to the active roster, replacing Polish sniper Sebastian Kusmeze (ID: fr3nd) for the upcoming Fragadelphia Series in Knoxville, Tennessee.
23-year-old phzy is from Sweden and has played for several CS teams, including 9INE, NIP, Sangal, and RA. Since joining Wildcard in July 2024, he has played in 167 maps and 3,548 rounds for the team, with average damage and kill value of 76.4 and 1.18 respectively, and an average personal rating of 1.15.
In July of this year, phzy was briefly replaced by Wildcard academy player fr3nd as part of the team's summer rebuild. He was also relegated to the Wildcard bench, alongside Peter Jaguz (ID: stanislaw) in the starting lineup.
Phzy then spent approximately two months on loan at 9INE, playing in 59 maps and 1,260 rounds, averaging 74.8 damage and 1.20 kill damage, respectively, for a 1.08 rating. With the roster undergoing adjustments, Wildcard decided to recall phzy from 9INE and reinstate him into the starting lineup.
