Liverpool's Portugal international forward killed in a car accident aged 28..

Marca quoted the Zamora Police in Spain and reported the heartbreaking news that Liverpool's Portugal international forward Diogo Jota was killed in a car accident on the same morning at the age of 28.

According to the report, Jota was riding in a car heading towards Benavente on the A-52 highway in Zamora Province. The car was suspected to have a flat tire and suddenly lost control and ran off the road.

After seeing this shocking scene, passers-by immediately called 112 for emergency assistance, and the Zamora Fire and Emergency Rescue Unit immediately rushed to the scene with the police.

When the fire and emergency rescue units and the police arrived at the scene, the car was already engulfed in flames and the passengers in the car were killed on the spot.

According to the Zamora Police, there were two people in the car at the time. The one who died with Jota was his 26-year-old younger brother André Silva, who was currently playing for Peñafiel.

After the news of Jota's sudden death was released, media outlets, journalists, many players, teammates, clubs he played for, Liverpool fans and fans of the other clubs all over the world immediately went to his personal social media accounts to express their condolences.

It is worth mentioning that Jota had just married his girlfriend Rute Cardoso, whom he had known for many years, two weeks ago. The two had three children. It is extremely heartbreaking that she and her children now have to suddenly receive such terrible news.
