Marca quoted the Zamora Police in Spain and reported the heartbreaking news that Liverpool's Portugal international forward Diogo Jota was killed in a car accident on the same morning at the age of 28.

According to the report, Jota was riding in a car heading towards Benavente on the A-52 highway in Zamora Province. The car was suspected to have a flat tire and suddenly lost control and ran off the road.

After seeing this shocking scene, passers-by immediately called 112 for emergency assistance, and the Zamora Fire and Emergency Rescue Unit immediately rushed to the scene with the police.

When the fire and emergency rescue units and the police arrived at the scene, the car was already engulfed in flames and the passengers in the car were killed on the spot.

Jota was born in Porto, Portugal on December 4, 1996. He is 1.78 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as a left winger.
