Chris Wood stressed the need for Nottingham Forest to build on their strong start to the season, which saw them win Brentford at the City Ground. The New Zealand striker was in blistering form against the Trentside side, breaking the deadlock after just six minutes and then netting a brace before half-time.  

Nottingham Forest put in a brilliant first-half performance, with Dan N'Doye subsequently netting his first goal for the club. Following the match, Chris Wood expressed his appreciation for the performance of his teammates and expressed his hope that the team could maintain this positive form in future matches.
