Juventus released a statement on Thursday announcing the completion of the contract extension with Nicolo Savona. The new contract is extended by one year on the original basis and is valid until June 30, 2030.

The 22-year-old Nicolo Savona mainly plays as a right back, but can also play as a left back and center back when necessary. He joined Juventus' youth training system at the age of 8. He made his debut in Serie A for the first team on August 18, 2024.

So far, Savona has played 37 times for Juventus, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. With the increase in appearances and the continuous improvement of his personal performance, his value in the German transfer market has climbed to 14 million euros.

After completing the contract renewal with Savona, Juventus will continue to promote the renewal of other members. The Juventus players currently participating in the renewal negotiations include 26-year-old Italian central defender Federico Gatti and 26-year-old American midfielder Weston McKennie. The two decided to postpone the contract renewal due to the previous turmoil in the club's management. If nothing unexpected happens, Gatti will renew his contract with Juventus until 2030 and receive a salary increase.

Juventus has also reached a verbal agreement with head coach Igor Tudor on a contract extension, and the two sides will sign a formal contract before the team goes to the United States to participate in the Club World Cup. It is reported that Tudor's term will be extended to June 2027 after the contract extension.
