Chelsea won the 2025 Club World Cup final by beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 after goals from Palmer and Joao Pedro. Chelsea winger Pedro Neto said the victory was dedicated to Jota and Andre Silva who had passed away unexpectedly.
Earlier this month, Liverpool star Jota died in a car accident at the age of 28. His younger brother Andre Silva, who was in the same car with Jota, also died in the accident.
