Fiorentina forced Juventus to a 1-1 draw in their Serie A matchday 12 match of the 2025/26 season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday.

In the first half, Vlahović was awarded a penalty, but the decision was withdrawn after being caught to have dived. Kean's shot hit the crossbar, and Kostić  scored with a follow-up shot. In the second half, Mandragora scored a stunning long-range goal. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. After this round of matches, I Viola remain at the bottom of the table with 6 points; I Bianconeri are currently in 6th place with 12 points.

First Half

In the 14th minute, Dušan Vlahović got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before appearing to be brought down by Pablo Marí. The referee immediately awarded Juventus a penalty, but the VAR assistant referee intervened immediately. After reviewing the VAR, the refereeing team unanimously ruled that Vlahović had dived, and the penalty decision was overturned!

11 minutes later, Rolando Mandragora made a straight pass from his own back half. Moise Kean quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the right side of the box before volleying with his right foot. Unfortunately, his shot struck the crossbar and bounced off. Fiorentina missed a golden opportunity to score!

In the 35th minute, Michele Di Gregorio delivered a long pass from his own penalty area. After beating the offside trap, Vlahović quickly followed up, got the ball, dribbled past Marí and David de Gea before striking the ball from a very close distance in the box at a difficult angle with his left foot, but his shot hit the side netting and went just wide of the bottom left corner of the post.

In the 5th minute of first-half stoppage time, Manuel Locatelli picked up a loose ball and unleashed a left-footed long shot from the edge of the penalty area. His shot was accidentally deflected by Vlahović's back and was cleared off not far away. After quickly following and picking up the loose ball, Filip Kostić took a right-footed long shot from outside the box. His shot flew straight into the bottom left corner of the net, leaving De Gea out of reach Juventus broke the deadlock first to take a 0-1 lead!

At halftime, Fiorentina temporarily trailed Juventus by 0-1.

Second Half

Both teams switch sides as the match continued. In the 48th minute, Fiorentina launched a deadly counter-attack. Kean intercepted the ball and passes horizontally from the attacking this. After intercepting the ball, Rolando Mandragora and adjusted his angle before taking a a left-footed long shot from 35 yards out of the penalty area. The ball flew straight into the top right corner of the net, making it a wondergoal which Di Gregorio was unable to save. Fiorentina equalized Juventus at 1-1! This is the former I Bianconeri defensive midfielder's 21st goal for I Viola in all competitions!

3 minutes later, Roberto Piccoli passed the ball back from the attacking third. Upon receiving the pass, Kean got the ball and took a few steps before taking a right-footed long shot from the edge of the penalty area, but his shot was saved by Di Gregorio.

In the 80th minute, Francesco Conceição passes horizontally from the byline at the right side of the box. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Luca Ranieri. Weston McKennie rose high and attempted with a a header in the box, however his effort was saved by De Gea.

When the final whistle is blown, Fiorentina forced Juventus to a 1-1 draw.
