Former The Times' resident renowned English transfer journalist Henry Winter, has refuted fake news claiming that he "had confirmed" that former France international midfielder Paul Pogba "had agreed to join Al-Nassr at the instigation of his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo" through a podcast on the streaming platform Apple Podcasts on Thursday.

Winter refuted in the show that he had never said such a thing, and even had no idea where such fake news came from.

He clarified that, in short, he had never heard that Al-Nassr was interested in signing Pogba, and the player had been training on his own in the United States and waiting for clubs to approach him.

Upon verification, this fake news which claimed that Paul Pogba "has agreed to join Al-Nassr at the instigation of Cristiano Ronaldo" was fabricated and written by a content farm article writer on Sohu, the regular representative of our website's "Daily Slap in the Face Party" on October 23, 2024!

This fake news was posted by a user named Life of Traveling (游山玩水的生活), who also lied that the news came from The Times.

Since The Times only has one renowned journalist who reports on transfer rumours from all over the world, it is very obvious that Winter's name was maliciously used by this unscrupulous writer!

I also found that this Sohu content farm article writer whose name is Life of Traveling likes to post some domestic and foreign sports news such as the CBA, the Chinese Super League, the NBA, the La Liga and etc., but the news he had posted is almost all fake news!

It is worth mentioning that this fake news was once also reposted to this website!

Later, after this fake news was reposted by our "old friend" "Zhibo ba", it was said that the news came from our another "good friend", "Everything Juventus" that has appeared frequently recently!
