Nottingham Forest have announced that Willy Boly has signed a new contract with the club, which will last until the summer of 2026.  

Since leaving Wolves to join Nottingham Forest in 2022, the defender has made 45 appearances for the team and has gradually grown into one of the indispensable players under Nuno Espirito Santo.  

Willy Boly is a key member of the team's leadership, having made nine appearances in all competitions last season, providing valuable experience support to the team.  

The player was a member of the team that won the African Cup with the Ivory Coast national team last year. He has extensive experience in European competitions. He once played for Porto, a strong team in the Champions League, and then moved to Braga and finally joined Wolves in the Europa League.  

As the team qualified for the European Championships and the number of matches increased, Willy Boly's leadership both on and off the pitch played a key role in the team's adaptation to the intensive schedule.  

When renewing his contract with the club, Willy Boly said: "I am very happy to continue to stay in this excellent team and look forward to welcoming the new season with the team and the fans. We must use this brilliant season as a starting point and continue to work hard. I am sincerely pleased with the results our team has achieved this year."
