Hamburger SV has officially announced the extension of Alexander Rosing-Lehler's contract, which was originally set to expire in 2029, effective immediately. The club has not yet disclosed the length of the extension or other specific details.

Lelecht is only 18 years old and is a winger from Nitdal, Norway. He came through the Lillestrøm youth academy and made his professional debut for the first team in the Norwegian Eliteserien on May 20, 2024.

According to statistics, Lelecht made 12 appearances for Lillestrøm, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Since joining Hamburg for €2.8 million in February of this year, he has played 13 games and contributed 1 assist, demonstrating great potential and value.

Despite Lelecht's recent absence due to a torn muscle fiber, Hamburg expressed their unwavering trust in him by extending his contract. In the contract extension statement, Hamburg CEO Stefan Kunz said: "Although Alex is still young, he has integrated well into the team and his overall development has remained stable. He has a high sense of belonging to the club. We will give him enough time to grow and move into the next stage with him – he will surely bring us a lot of joy."

Hamburg's sporting director, Klaus Costa, added: "Alex is an extremely quick learner and eager to improve. His playing style is aggressive, adventurous, and unrestrained. With his speed, one-on-one ability, and defensive awareness, Alex possesses ideal qualities for the winger position."
