Hoffenheim issued a statement on Thursday announcing the contract extension with 21-year-old German midfielder Mohamed Damer. The club did not disclose the specific length of the new contract, but it is understood that it will be extended from 2026 to June 30, 2029.

Mohammed Damma was in the youth training systems of Hertha Berlin, Frankfurt and other teams in his early years. He transferred from Frankfurt U19 to Hoffenheim in July 2022. He made his Bundesliga debut for Hoffenheim on August 6, 2022, and has since made 6 appearances.

Due to limited playing opportunities, Dama has been loaned to Hannover 96 and Eversburg since August 2023. He played for Hannover 96 and Eversburg for two seasons, during which he played 35 Bundesliga games, 1 promotion play-off and 1 German Cup, scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists.

Regarding the decision to renew Dama's contract, Hoffenheim's sporting director Andreas Schickel explained: "Mohammed is a very talented player with excellent technical ability and a great insight into the game. He played on loan at Eversburg last season and showed great potential many times during that time. This loan was very successful for both Mohammed and us. He has established himself as a starter in the Bundesliga and has proven his ability in high-level competitions many times."
