According to Sky Sports Germany and other media reports, Dortmund is interested in signing 19-year-old English midfielder Job Bellingham this summer. They have sent General Manager of Sports Lars Ricken, Sports Director Sebastian Kehl, Head Coach Niko Kovac and Chief Scout Sebastian Kruger to England to make preliminary contacts with the player.
However, neither Dortmund's top management nor the players responded. In addition to Dortmund, many clubs such as RB Leipzig have also expressed interest in him.
Jobe is the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, and both of them came from Birmingham City's youth training. He made his first-team debut on behalf of Birmingham City on January 8, 2021, and transferred to Sunderland for 1.75 million euros in July 2023.
So far, Jobe has played 87 times for Sunderland, scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists, helping the team secure a top four finish in the Championship and advance to the play-offs. His value has risen from 12 million euros to 22 million euros, and may change depending on Sunderland's promotion results.
