Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was delighted with his team's win over Everton in the Premier League and thought the team played the kind of football they should. In this game, Chelsea dominated possession from the start, especially in the first half, and the players performed very well.  

The turning point of the game came in the 45th minute when Nicolajson scored a wonderful goal to decide the outcome. Although the team needed to work harder in the second half to maintain the lead, there is no doubt that the team's overall performance deserved this victory.

The only goal of the game came from a quick counterattack after regaining the ball in a dangerous area. Enzo Maresca believes this reflects Chelsea's gradual maturity in ball possession rhythm and quick counterattack options.

In this game, Nicolajson quickly seized the opportunity and hit an unstoppable long shot outside the penalty area, scoring his 10th Premier League goal of the season and his first goal in 2025. This goal proved that the head coach's trust in the striker who returned from injury was completely correct.
