Lens announced on their official website on Monday that the club have extended the contract of its young French forward Rayan Fofana.
According to Lens' official statement, Fofana signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs runs until the summer of 2029.
About Rayan Fofana
Fofana, who is only still 19-year-old, was born on February 12, 2006, in Paris, France. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward but can also play as a right winger. He holds dual French and Ivorian citizenship.
Fofana played for the youth academy of a local non-league club in Paris as a child. He joined Lens' youth academy in 2019 and began playing for their reserve team in the summer of 2024, before making his Lens first-team debut by coming on as a substitute this March.
Since his debut, Fofana has made 15 appearances for the Ligue 1 leaders in all competitions so far, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
