Owen Goodman to join Huddersfield Town on loan

Owen Goodman has been confirmed to join Huddersfield Town on loan for the 2025-26 season. The England U20 international will be making his first appearance in League One, having previously spent several seasons in League Two at Colchester United and AFC Wimbledon.
Goalkeeper Owen Goodman performed well in the 2024-25 season, helping the Dons win the play-off final at Wembley Stadium and successfully advance to the next stage.
The 21-year-old was named in the English Football League Two Team of the Season and won the Golden Glove Award for his outstanding performances, and he kept 25 clean sheets in 53 games.
Owen Goodman initially joined Crystal Palace's youth training at the Under-13 league stage, then gradually advanced through the academy system and made four appearances for the first team in the 2022-23 season.
After the initial phase of Crystal Palace's pre-season, Owen Goodman plans to officially join Lee Grant's London Huddersfield Terriers in mid-July. All members of Crystal Palace sincerely wish Owen success and all the best during his loan period.
