Ipswich Town are pleased to announce that Dara O'Shea has signed a new long-term contract. The centre-back has signed a five-year contract extension until the summer of 2030.  

The 26-year-old moved to Portman Road from Burnley in August 2024 and quickly established himself as a central figure in the team. In the 2024-25 season, he made 37 appearances, becoming the Ipswich player with the most playing time.  

With his outstanding performance, Dara O'Shea won the club's Player of the Year Award. The Republic of Ireland international has now renewed his contract and will continue to play for Ipswich.  

Dara O'Shea said after signing the new contract: "I am very proud and happy to have renewed my contract with Ipswich Town."  

"Last season was an important learning experience for us and it was crucial for the future development of the team. I am very happy to have signed a new contract and I am ready to give my all to start pre-season training."
