Dean Henderson, who kept his seventh clean sheet in 14 Premier League appearances this season, praised Crystal Palace's overall defensive performance in Thursday's 1-0 victory over Burnley. Crystal Palace played brilliantly for the first 60 minutes at Turf Moor, and deserved the lead thanks to a first-half header from Daniel Muñoz.  

Crystal Palace relied heavily on Dean Henderson's crucial saves throughout the match, including a fingertip-to-the-go block of Jacob Bruin Larsson's shot midway through the second half, ultimately securing a clean sheet and three points. Reflecting on that moment in an interview, Dean Henderson said, "Yes, obviously that's my job."  

“I was quite disappointed to lose the last game due to a mistake in positioning, so I’m very pleased to have saved that shot tonight. My hand was sore, and I knew I touched the ball, but I just wanted to see how it was going.”  

Dean Henderson, summarizing the match, said: "I think this was a very interesting game. Obviously, the last few games have been tough. In the first two games, we took the lead in the first half, and obviously a one-goal lead was enough to secure the victory. Tonight we may not have played our best, but it also showed that the players gave their all in the final moments of the game and ultimately managed to keep a clean sheet."  

"To be fair, the opponents played exceptionally well in the last 15 to 20 minutes of the game and completely dominated. Our players gave their all, some even playing in unfamiliar positions, but everyone performed exceptionally well in defending the penalty area, and I am proud of the whole team."  

Near the end of the match, Chris Richards cleared Armando Broya's high cross off the line, getting it to Dean Henderson before he could reach it. Dean Henderson said, "It's a result of everyone supporting and complementing each other. The team is united; they try to help me, and I try my best to support them. The defense is very solid, which is why we have such a good defensive record. Everyone works very hard."  

"There are 11 players on the field, which clearly demonstrates the results of teamwork. I think the team must rely on a solid defense to decide the outcome of the game. Obviously, with a tight schedule, we need to maintain good recovery and keep moving forward, taking one step at a time."
