Three Arsenal players named in PFA Team of the Year

The PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the 2024-25 season has been officially announced, with three Arsenal players selected: Declan Rice, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.

Rice was selected for the second consecutive year for his performance, with four goals and seven assists. Not only was he named Arsenal's Player of the Season, he was also named to the Champions League Team of the Year, establishing himself as the absolute heart of the team's midfield. Despite suffering a season-ending hamstring injury in April, he maintained one of the lowest goal-conceding defenses in the Premier League for two consecutive seasons.

French center-back Saliba made a historic breakthrough, being named to the PFA Team of the Year for three consecutive years. He helped Arsenal keep 18 clean sheets in the league this season, five more than the second-placed team.

Saliba played 51 games and 4,446 minutes, the most of any outfield player on the team. He is the first Arsenal player to be named in the squad for three consecutive years since Henry, who was selected six times in a row from the 2000-01 to 2005-06 seasons.

The collective selection of the three Arsenal players not only highlights the team's strong performance in the Premier League and the Champions League, but also once again proves the stability and influence of their core players.
