In their home match against Brighton, Wolves conceded another late equalizer, ultimately resulting in a draw. Marcel M'nessey remains confident in his team, believing their first Premier League win is within reach. A similar situation occurred last weekend against Tottenham, where Wolves led for much of the match before being equalized in the final moments.

However, Marcel Mnessey's powerful shot in the first half was accidentally blocked by goalkeeper Barthes Verbruggen into his own net, resulting in an own goal. Van Herk's inattention during a corner kick allowed the visitors to equalize. Afterward, the midfielder admitted that the team's current situation requires everyone to take responsibility and work together to overcome the slump.
