Ben Nelson scored a goal in Leicester City's 2-0 victory over Bristol City, sending fans off the pitch in triumph, and Nelson himself was visibly excited. The academy graduate opened the scoring with a header, and Abdel Fattah al-Fatou extended the lead to two goals with a spectacular volley just before halftime.  

Leicester City still had a tough time securing the victory, with Yakub Stolaccik saving a penalty from Emil Rees in the second half to help the team keep a clean sheet for the first time since September. This was an encouraging moment for Leicester City, whose form has steadily improved in recent weeks since Gary Rowett took over, ultimately leading to a win and lifting them out of the bottom three of the Sky Sportsbook Champions League table.  

Ben Nelson said: "It's hard to put into words how long we've wanted to keep a clean sheet, and it feels amazing to finally win the game. We not only scored, but we also won, making it a perfect three-game winning streak."

Speaking about his 25th/26th goal, he said, "The passing was excellent, and Jordan James' pass was very precise. We had discussed it a few times before, and the coach suggested that I make more use of set-piece opportunities to score. I've been practicing hard, and now I'm finally seeing the results, which feels fantastic."  

Ben Nelson praised Yakubu Stolaccik, saying his penalty save thwarted Robbins' final comeback at Philbert Road. He added: "That moment was crucial; that penalty could have changed the course of the entire season. Under pressure, you can choose to collapse or you can choose to stand up. Yakubu Stolaccik was outstanding, holding his nerve to keep a clean sheet and keep us in the game, which was fantastic. All we wanted to do was make the fans happy. We've been playing well away from home recently, so it's great to have such a wonderful victory at home."
