Bobby Reed said the team was happy to get the point and would continue to fight hard.

After a draw away to Wrexham, Bobby Reed will host Oxford United on Saturday in a match seen as a golden opportunity for the team to secure their first win of the season. Yannick Westergaard equalized late in the game, helping his team secure a valuable point from their midweek draw at Stoke City. Leicester City will be looking to take all three points this round.

Despite a slight disappointment at failing to win their last match and returning to the East Midlands, Jamaican international Bobby Reed stated that the team's goal is to secure a victory at the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Reflecting on the recent draw in northeast Wales, Bobby Reed said: "I think the team should accept this point. We've been fighting hard for a win, and the result was very close. We created some chances in the first half, and it was clear that it would be a very evenly matched game."

“We must fight with all our might and maintain our fighting spirit during the game. I think we conceded a goal somewhat unnecessarily, but the team will analyze it. We accept a point and continue to move forward. We must persevere in the game and not give up easily, which we failed to do. After the opponent's Calab headed the ball back, it remained in the field, and Yannick eventually seized the opportunity to score.”

"Looking at the course of the game, we are pleased to have earned this point and will continue to strive for it. We aim to win every game, and if we cannot win, we at least want to secure a point. Considering the course of the game, the team's performance, and the situation at the time, we accept this point and move on."

"We understand that this is a fair challenge for both teams, and all we can do is adapt to the pace of the game and try our best. The wind was noticeable in the first half, and the ball speed increased, often falling behind the opponent's defense, so we could only try our best to cope with the effects of the weather. We accept this point and will continue to move forward. In the second half, they will definitely increase their attack and put pressure on us, which is the nature of football."

“It’s impossible to have an absolute advantage throughout the entire match. The opponent will definitely put pressure on us, and we must hold on. They did score a goal, but the players fought hard to equalize. We know we need to learn from the lessons of the first two matches, strive for victory and take the three points, and at the same time, show our best performance. We will continue to work towards this goal.”
