Dimarco chose to shoot directly when he took the penalty, but because the angle was too straight, the ball was directly taken by Fluminense goalkeeper Fabio.

In the 40th minute, Xavier made a lob pass to the penalty area, and Ignacio rushed forward and scored with a header. After VAR intervened, it was indicated as offside, so the goal was ruled invalid.
