Torino announced on their official website on Tuesday that Corinthians' Brazil U23s international defender Tchoca has joined the club on-loan.
According to Torino's official statement, Tchoca will play for the club on loan until the end of the season. The loan agreement includes a conditional buy-out clause, with a loan fee of €1.5 million.
The buy-out clause will be automatically triggered if Gioca makes 10 appearances for the Serie A club, playing at least 45 minutes in each match. The buy-out fee is €4.5 million.
About Tchoca
The 22-year-old Tchoca was born on December 31, 2003, in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is 1.92 meters tall and plays as a center-back.
Tchoca played for the youth academies of Cruzeiro, Atlético Mineiro, and Desportivo Brasil during his childhood. He joined Corinthians' youth academy in 2019 before making his Corinthians first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in June 2024.
In August 2024, Tchoca was loaned to Ceará.
During his time with Ceará, he helped the club gain promotion to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
Upon returning to Corinthians in January 2025, Tchoca officially became a regular starter for their first team.
Last season, Tchoca made 29 appearances for the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A powerhouse in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist, helping the club achieve the Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Paulista double.
