February 19th - According to ESPN, Joel Embiid experienced right calf soreness during All-Star Weekend and will miss the 76ers' game against the Hawks. The 76ers stated that Embiid experienced soreness while participating in a right knee injury management program. After a doctor's evaluation, he has received routine treatment and is gradually returning to on-court practice and strength training.
So far this season, Embiid is averaging 26.6 points per game, unaffected by past seasons' playing time restrictions. Notably, the 76ers have lost six of their last seven games in which he has missed .
