The Grizzlies have confirmed that they will award two-way forward Prosper a permanent contract, with the new deal expected to last two years.

The Memphis Grizzlies announced Wednesday that they have officially recognized 23-year-old two-way forward Olivier Maxance Prosper as a full-time player, effective immediately. HoopsHype reporter Michael Scotto further noted that the two sides signed a standard two-year NBA contract with a team option for the 2026/27 season.
Prosper, the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2023 NBA draft, spent his first two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks. He played 92 regular season games for the Mavericks, averaging 3.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 10.0 minutes per game, with a 39.6% field goal percentage and a 26.0% three-point percentage.
In September 2025, Prosper signed a two-way contract with the Grizzlies. So far this season, he has played 36 NBA regular season games for the Grizzlies, averaging 7.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 15.8 minutes per game, with a field goal percentage of 54.1% and a three-point percentage of 38.9%.
The Grizzlies decided to use the two-way roster spot freed up after Prosper's promotion to full-time general manager to sign 21-year-old Rajon Rupert. Rupert is a 6'3" (2.01m) and 93kg (43kg) swingman who entered the NBA in the second round (43rd overall) in 2023. He previously played 139 NBA regular season games for the Portland Trail Blazers, and this season, after joining the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract, he played 5 games for them. During this period, Rupert averaged 3.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per game while wearing a Grizzlies jersey.
