Lazio announced on their official website on Friday that the club have signed Poland U19s international attacking midfielder wonderkid Adrian Przyborek from Pogoń Szczecin.
According to Lazio's official statement, Przyborek has signed on a long-term four-and-a-half-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
Furthermore, according to Sky Sports' resident renowned Italian transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, the Serie A powerhouse paid Pogoń Szczecin €4.5 million in transfer fee, plus up to €2.5 million in performance-related bonuses to sign Przyborek. Pogoń Szczecin will also be entitled to 20% of any future transfer fees from the player.
About Adrian Przyborek
The 19-year-old Adrian Przyborek was born on January 1, 2007, in Koszalin, Poland. He is 1.84 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a right winger.
As a child, Przyborek attended the Sianów Football Academy. His outstanding performances while representing Bałtyk Koszalin in a youth indoor football tournament caught the attention of scouts from several clubs.
In 2021, Przyborek joined the Pogoń Szczecin youth academy and began playing for their reserve team the following year. In February 2023, at the age of 16, he completed his Pogoń Szczecin first-team by coming on as a substitute, breaking the record to become the second youngest player to achieve this feat.
During his near three-year spell with Pogoń Szczecin, Przyborek made 83 appearances for the Polish Ekstraklasa club in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 13 assists.
