Fulham manager Marco Silva says he's looking forward to Saturday's match against Everton. Silva, who managed Everton for a season and a half, has always enjoyed returning to Goodison Park with Fulham. However, the club's move to their new stadium at Bramley Moore Quay marks a new era.  

Marco Silva said at the pre-match press conference: "It's always a pleasant thing to return to a place where you can see familiar faces and reunite with people who know you very well and are very friendly to you. Some of the club's players are still here, and I really look forward to talking to them before and after the match, just like in the past, and enjoying the time spent with these familiar and warm people."  

“At the start of the game, the players will give their all to win, as always, that’s the most important thing. Goodison Park is very meaningful to us. The club’s relocation was something they should have done, and they have done it. The club is very happy with the new stadium, and for us, this will be the first time we play in that stadium.”  

"You can feel it, and you can see it, that this is very beneficial for them, and we will gladly accept the challenge of playing against such a strong team away from home. This team has an experienced head coach and some mature and experienced players."  

“They have brought in some excellent players for the team, and this game will be very difficult, just like playing away in the Premier League. Playing against Everton is always challenging. But looking back, these players recently turned the tide for the club away against Everton, which reflects the direction and effectiveness of our efforts.”  

Under Marco Silva's leadership, Fulham actually earned 7 of the 9 points they could have gotten in 3 away games against Everton, and they also advanced to the quarterfinals of the League Cup.  

Despite Everton's unbeaten run of four out of five Premier League matches at Hill Dickinson Stadium, when asked if the team could continue their good away record, Marco Silva said: "Hopefully, that's our goal, absolutely our goal."  

"Of course, Everton are concerned about the result of the other game, but we are more focused on replicating our recent performance, maintaining our good form, and continuing those impressive ways of winning. That's the most important thing for us."  

“Everton have performed quite well at home so far. Of course, I know they lost their last home game, but overall, their results are still commendable. The impact of the new stadium and home games is obvious, and these statistics can be analyzed, but the final result depends on ourselves. Our recent away form has been less than satisfactory, and hopefully we can improve. The next game against Everton will be an opportunity to showcase the team’s strength.”
