Marco Silva said on Thursday there is no truth to rumours that Fulham are interested in signing Kyle Walker-Peters and Ben Johnson this summer.
According to Sky Sports reporter Dalmisho Sheth, Fulham is closely monitoring Southampton right-back Kyle K-Peters and Ipswich Town right-back Ben Johnson in preparation for a potential squad reshuffle this summer. However, Fulham manager Marco Silva denied this at the pre-match press conference against Aston Villa on Saturday: "I can assure you that the news is not true."
He then added that Fulham's current priority is to renew the contract with Kenny Tait, whose contract will expire this summer: "Our top priority is to renew the contract with Kenny, whose contract is about to expire. It is normal for other teams to be interested in him."
Kenny Tait, 29, was born in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. He mainly plays as a right back on the field. He came from the Ajax youth training and made his debut for the first team in the Eredivisie on February 5, 2015.
In September 2020, Tate joined Fulham from Lyon for 3.2 million euros. To date, he has made 117 appearances for Fulham, scoring 4 goals and providing 19 assists.
