Inter’s Coppa Italia campaign came to an end in the semi-finals. Despite a positive start, Inter were able to take advantage in the second half thanks to two goals from Luka Jovic, followed by another goal from Tejani Reinders.  

After the game, Simone Inzaghi said: "I feel sorry for the fans who were there, but this is football. AC Milan performed very well as a whole, especially in the second half. We felt a little sorry for the performance in the first half. We missed several opportunities and the opponent scored first. We should have been calmer and more cautious."  

"We had problems defending corner kicks in the second half and failed to continue the positive performance in the first half. We are not a team accustomed to losing in a row. We need to analyze the problem calmly instead of looking at these two games emotionally."

I know the players are very tired, but this is definitely not an excuse for failure. We must show our true level. This defeat is really hard for us to accept. But we know that if we want to reach the final, we must play better."

We all know that the last month of the season is the most difficult, but we must move forward with confidence and with the support of the fans. We will analyze this defeat and go for the win against Roma.
