The Daily Telegraph: Real Madrid joins the race for Dean Wiseman with a bid far higher than Chelsea

According to Matt Law, a famous reporter from the Daily Telegraph, Real Madrid's interest in Bournemouth defender Dean Wissen continues to heat up. They intend to complete the signing this summer and have started relevant negotiations.
Chelsea was once considered the top destination for Weissen, but now Real Madrid has come from behind. The salary they are prepared to offer is much higher than Chelsea, which is more attractive to Weissen.
The 20-year-old Weissen was born in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, and moved to Malaga, Spain with his family at the age of 5. He has received youth training in Malaga and Juventus, and made his Serie A debut on behalf of the Zebras on October 22, 2023.
In July 2024, Weisen transferred to Bournemouth for 15.2 million euros. So far, he has made 34 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
There is no sign that Chelsea has withdrawn from the race, with Liverpool and Arsenal also keeping an eye on Wiseman. However, Real Madrid is confident that they will beat Chelsea and other clubs to bring Wiseman back to Spain.
It is understood that the six-year contract that Weissen signed with Bournemouth last year includes a buyout clause worth £50 million, payable in three instalments.
