Real Sociedad shockingly fall to a 0-1 loss against Celta Vigo on matchday 36th of the 2024/25 La Liga season at the Reale Arena on Tuesday.

First Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 59th minute, Hamari Traoré crossed into the box from the right wing. Pablo Marín quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his right foot from the center of the box, but his shot was saved by Vicente Guaita.

In the 6th minute, Aihen Muñoz crossed into the box from the right wing. Mikel Oyarzabal quickly followed up and rose high and attempted with a header in the box, but unfortunately his effort hit the crossbar and bounced off. Real Sociedad missed a golden opportunity to equalize Celta Vigo!

In the 70th minute, Muñoz crossed into the box from the left wing. The ball was initially saved and cleared off not far away by Guaita. Marín quickly followed up, rose high and attempted with a header in the box. However his effort was tipped over the crossbar by Guaita.

In the 83rd minute, Real Sociedad got a corner kick opportunity. Takefusa Kubo took the corner by crossing it into the box. Oyarzabal quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, half-volleyed with his right foot from the left side of the box, but his shot went wide of the left side of the post.
