Eintracht Frankfurt will host defending champions Bayern Munich on Matchday 6 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. Frankfurt coach Topmüller expressed his hope that his players would show their true colors in the match and approach the game with a winning mentality.

After Robin Koch's brace, as well as goals from Knauf, Jonathan Bukater, Fares Chaybi and Can Uzun, Frankfurt defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 6-4 in the last round of the league. Frankfurt is currently ranked 5th in the standings with 9 points.

As for Bayern Munich, Kompany's team ranks first in the standings with 15 points and has won all of their last five games.

Frankfurt coach Topmuller said about Bayern Munich, "It doesn't make much sense to just mark a certain player. Bayern Munich has top players in every position. For example, Kimmich, Olise, Gnabry and Diaz are in good shape."

"We have to defend Kane as a team and maintain smart positioning in the penalty area because he is very agile. Bayern Munich's battle plan is very perfect. They have suppressed almost every opponent this season, including Chelsea, which is really impressive. Our fear of them must disappear at the kick-off. Instead, we have to make them feel that they have to respect us more. We know we are facing an extremely strong team, but it depends on whether we can give our best and play well."

Topmüller continued, "If we can do this, we can see what we can gain in the end. I hope the team can show themselves and go into the game with the mentality of wanting to win. This is what I want to see, and the key is commitment and strength, as well as the energy we have to generate at home."

As for the status of other players, Topmuller said, "Nathaniel Brown deserves to be selected for the national team, not just because of his performance this season. Especially in the second half of last season, he showed that he is a very good player with flexible position. This is one of the reasons why he is so important to us. He is very eager to learn and improve, and is willing to put into practice what he has learned in training."

"And goalkeeper Koua Santos, who has played three games since returning from injury and is constantly improving. We conceded some avoidable goals, but it wasn't his fault. Against Atletico Madrid, he showed his ability to stop opponents with his body."

Topmüller also said, "He is getting better at handling the ball in every game and his confidence is growing. We have to give him time to grow and find his rhythm. We have full confidence in this player and he will play."
