Fulham defeated Sunderland 1-0 in the 12th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, thanks to a goal from Raul Jimenez. Manager Marco Silva expressed his delight that the team had bounced back from their previous defeat and praised Raul Jimenez for his dedication to the game.

In the 84th minute of the second half, Chukuese chipped a pass into the penalty area, where Raul Jimenez slid in and scored, giving Fulham a 1-0 lead.

Fulham ultimately defeated Sunderland 1-0 at home. After two wins and three losses in their last five matches, Fulham currently sits in 15th place in the league table with 14 points.

Fulham manager Marco Silva said, "We fully deserved the three points. The team played very well and scored some great goals, but we should have taken the lead earlier. This victory puts us back on the right track because we didn't perform at the level we should have in the last game."
