David Moeller-Wolf says he benefited greatly from the game against Manchester City

Wolves defender David Moller-Wolf believes the 4-0 scoreline understates Saturday's opener against Manchester City, but admits he learned a lot from his Premier League debut. Playing as a left-back, the Norwegian saw Wolves start brightly, but when the hosts missed good chances, City displayed composure and focus, ultimately controlling the tempo of the match.
David Moller-Wolf had only made 45 appearances for Wolves, including a friendly against Celta Vigo, so he knew it would take time to adjust to his new surroundings. However, having just signed from AZ Alkmaar three weeks earlier, he had a very positive feeling about the team.
After the game, David Moller-Wolf said: "I learned a lot from this game. Although I need time to review it carefully, I believe that there are many areas worth reflecting on and improving, both individually and as a team. We did a lot of positive things, but also made some mistakes and were eventually punished by a very strong team. This is where the gap between the two sides lies."
"Mistakes are inevitable in football, and we certainly hoped to do well in our first game at home in front of our fans. The team showed some good moments, especially when we had a goal disallowed before the opponent's first goal. As for how close the score was, I don't know, but for me, the result of this game was obviously not 4-0, but that's the reality."
"I think we could have created more chances, and while we did create a few, it could have been more if we had timed them better. We'll make sure we're ready as soon as possible and try to win the game."
"Personally, I had only been with the team for 45 minutes before this game, so I may need more games to adapt. But I feel very positive about the team and I believe the fans will see our great performance from the result."
