Phoenix Suns rookie Kaman Maruachi recently talked about his goals in the team in an interview, and he is looking forward to fighting alongside his teammate Devin Booker, whom he admires very much.

Kaman Maruachi, 18, was previously selected by the Houston Rockets with the 10th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and was later traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Kaman Maruachi said, "It's really exciting that I can play with Devin Booker now. I remember one night in Paris, I saw him at dinner and he was sitting at another table. I told my agent that I wanted to go over and say hello to him, and then I shook his hand and he said see you in a year."

In addition, Kaman Maruachi, who plays center, previously played for the Duke Blue Devils and played in 39 games in the 2024/25 season, averaging 8.6 points per game.

Kaman Maruachi said, "I will work hard in the gym every day to improve my skills and keep improving and continue to do what I have worked hard for all these years."

"The pace of professional games is definitely faster, but there will be more space on the court. This will bring more opportunities to break through and create more opportunities for my team.
