Thomas Frank has said he feels honoured to be in charge of such a talented team after officially taking on the role as Tottenham Hotspur's first-team head coach.  

Thomas Frank has recently signed a long-term contract with the club until 2028 and visited Hotspur Road for the first time this week to familiarize himself with the new surroundings before the players begin pre-season training.  

Although his official meeting with the team is still to wait, the Dane mentioned in an interview that he is impressed by the potential shown by the team and is looking forward to the upcoming cooperation.  

Thomas Frank said: "This team has great talent and quality, and I am very happy to work with them. There is no doubt that people who follow the Premier League will notice teams like Tottenham, who have shown great quality in the past few years. Therefore, I think they have great potential."  

"I've known them from the sidelines before, so now I'm looking forward to really getting to know them, building relationships with them, seeing their personalities and their form. By interacting with them on the training ground, I can understand them more deeply and know how to help them perform at their best."  

"I already have some ideas about how we should play and how we should assemble the lineup. I'm very excited to turn these into reality."  

Although the team has potential new stars such as Lucas Bergwall, Archie Gray and Wilson Odobert, Thomas Frank is still committed to bringing out the maximum value of veterans and building a mature lineup that can compete in the Premier League and the Champions League.  

Thomas Frank continued: "Yes, when I say talented, it's not just young players, but also some experienced players. What we have to do is find a way to make them play at their best."  

“Young players are also a key part. I believe we should focus on developing each player as a whole and helping them to reach their maximum potential. Lucas, Archie, Wilson and Udoji are all young talents with great potential for development.”
