The final match of the 21st round of the 2025/26 Premier League season saw Arsenal, playing at home at the Emirates Stadium, draw 0-0 with Liverpool after missing several scoring opportunities.

Nine minutes into the match, Arsenal created an attacking opportunity. Dzekeresh passed the ball to Trossard, who unleashed a long-range shot, but the ball deflected off an opposing player and went wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Trossard fouled Liverpool midfielder Wirtz while contesting for possession, and the referee showed Trossard a yellow card.

In the 15th minute, Rice played a long pass, and Timber headed the ball across the box, but no teammate stepped up to create a threat. In the 27th minute, Liverpool's attack was cleared by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, and Conor Bradley received the ball and attempted a chip shot, but the ball hit the post.

In the 35th minute, Trossard received the ball, dribbled past the defender in the penalty area, and shot, but the ball went wide of the post. In the 44th minute, Arsenal launched a passing combination, and Rice, at the edge of the penalty area, received the ball and unleashed a long-range shot, which Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson easily saved. Arsenal continued their attack, and Saka attempted a shot in the ensuing scramble, but it was cleared.

In the 48th minute of the second half, Wirtz went down in the penalty area while attempting to break through the defense, but after VAR intervention, the referee ruled no penalty. In the 56th minute, Arsenal defender Incapie suffered an injury and was subsequently replaced by Lewis Skelly.

In the 62nd minute, Liverpool won a free kick. Szoboszlai took the shot directly, but the ball went over the post. Liverpool then launched an attack; McAllister passed to Szoboszlai, who unleashed a long-range shot, but it went wide.

In the 75th minute, Frimpong's cross from the right wing was cleared, and Szoboszlai controlled the ball and fired a shot, but the ball flew into the stands. In the 78th minute, Arsenal substituted Maduk and Eze for Saka and Odegaard.

In the 80th minute, Szoboszlai was tripped by Jesus while attempting to receive a pass from Hrafinbech near the edge of the penalty area, giving Liverpool a free kick. Szoboszlai then took the free kick, but unfortunately the ball went over the post.

In the 90th minute, Arsenal launched a counter-attack with a cross, and Jesus headed the ball towards goal from the penalty area, but Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson made the save. In stoppage time of the second half, Martinelli received the ball, broke through the defense, and fired a shot, but Alisson immediately dived to collect the ball.

Arsenal and Liverpool ultimately drew 0-0 at Arsenal's home ground. Arsenal currently sit atop the league table with 49 points, six points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
